Originální abstrakt

Real-time control of urban drainage systems os a modern tool of environmental protection. Sophisticated mathematical models are not suitable for thes purpose, because of possible numerical instabilities and long computational times. A simple simulation model DRAIN which is very fast and robust has been developed by the Technical University of Brno. Principles of the algorithm used as well as the simplifying assumptions are described in this paper.
