Originální abstrakt
Taylor series method for solving differential equations representsa non-traditional way of a numerical solution. Eventhough this method is not much preferred in the literature,experimental calculations done at the Department of IntelligentSystems of the Faculty of Information Technology ofTU Brno have verified that the accuracy and stability of theTaylor series method exceeds the currently used algorithmsfor numerically solving differential equations.This paper deals with numerical solution of Telegraphequation using modeling of a series small pieces of thewire. Corresponding differential equations are solved by theModern Taylor Series Method. As the solution is representedby a stiff problem, implicit numerical methods are presented.
