Originální abstrakt

The aim of this monography is to bring together scientists and engineers from Czech Republic end Slovenia in the attempt to exchange recent experience in the research and development activities on acoustic emission testing and monitoring. The field of Acoustic emission testing continues to grow as more and more applications are realized. With the evolution in electronics and digital signal processing, systems are being manufactured that emphasize waveform capturing and processing to supplement conventional feature based signal processing.
