MoonGate is a real-time strategy engine based on replaceable components, thus serving as an easily customizable educational environment for studying a wide range of problems from several research areas, for exaple visualization of AI algorithms or shader development. The implemented engine supports alongside the Windows platform also Xbox 360 platform, making it the first open source strategy engine for Xbox 360.
