Education concerning the relationship of man and his (natural) environment and the development of the relationship in near and distant future represents a great oportunity of innovation in the educational process as a whole. Education for sustainable development should be introduced into all university subjects. University level environmental education should primarily be connected with acquisition of professional qualifications and development of independent creative approaches to the area.
