The paper deals with the numerical analysis of the response of a special segmented guyed telecommunication mast to wind loads. The quickly relocatable mast is designed as a system of short tubes sequentially jointed by insertion in the course of erection. With respect to tube tip clearances and large guy displacements a nonlinear finite element analysis had to be applied.
