Originální abstrakt

There are many factors that influence values of arterial pressure. Water and electrolyte manage-ment closely related to a function of kidneys is one of the mentioned factors having great impor-tance. That is the reason why various attempts have been described for modelling control mecha-nisms used in maintaining arterial pressure in human body. This paper analyses some fundamental principles of the arterial pressure control connected to performance of kidneys and demonstrates some interesting results of computer simulation experiments whit a model implemented on the base of Guyton’s theory of the mentioned control mechanisms.
