Literature about thermography in horse medicine says that thermography may be used for early detection of overuse tendon injuries. Many authors say that inflammation related to this injury can be detected by infrared camera much earlier than clinical changes appear. We have started a study which should compare thermal pattern with ultrasonography (USG). We have measured just eight horses in different stages of this disease, but only three of them had positive thermogramme!

Literature about thermography in horse medicine says that thermography may be used for early detection of overuse tendon injuries.
