This paper gives an overview of the actual situation in the Czech electronics sector and its education needs for future. This area is gives very significant development characterised by entry of many important foreign OEM and CM after the year 1989. The most important facts of this development in the period of the last ten years, and the main factors influencing and supporting this situation are discussed in this paper.
