A NDT impedance spectroscopy method has been used to characterize ceramic roofing tile specimens. Differences between dry and various water-content condition specimen tan?(f) spectra variances have been observed. Furthermore, based on the predominant loss type, the material quality has been characterized. The method reproducibility has been verified by multiple measurements.

A NDT impedance spectroscopy method has been used to characterize ceramic roofing tile specimens.
