Originální abstrakt

The paper deals with time-frequency analysis of ECG signals using wavelet transform (WT). WT is applied to detect electrophysiological changes in ischemic heart. Reasons of WT implementation are justified. WT is defined and possibilities of its representation are shown. An algorithm for detection of ECG signal components using a contour envelope is designed in the experimental part of the paper. Properties of WT are further documented on a method of detection of electrophysiological changes in ischemic heart. Electrical activity of isolated hearts (n=11) in Langendorff experiment was recorded during induced acute ischemia. Recordings were analysed using measurement of shifts in phase time-frequency spectra. The results show that myocardial ischemia can be reliably detected within one minute after coronary artery occlusion under experimental conditions.
