Results of optical emission spectroscopy during the DC post-discharge in nitrogen with traces of hallogenated simple hydrocarbons are presented with respect to older experiments in nitrogen-methane mixture. All the results are in good agreement and thus also the processes could be more or less the same as in nitrogen-methane mixture.
