Originální abstrakt

DVB-H (Digital Video Broadcasting - Handheld), is one of the major systems to be used for mobile video and television for cellular phones and handsets. This paper presents the simulation and the results of the transmission of the mobile TV according to DVB-H over Ricean and Rayleigh fading channels. Application for this simulation was developed in Matlab. Exploring of the properties of the DVB-H was done in 2k mode, i.e. mobile mode of OFDM. Dependences of BER before and after Viterbi decoding on C/N ratio were obtained and compared. Dependences of MER on C/N for all types of payload modulation were also obtained. Finally, achieved results and mobile TV implementation details are discussed in the paper.
