Originální abstrakt

The study describes the results of a large questionnaire enquiry conducted to analyze issues related to Brno University of Technology (BUT) study in three main areas. The first research objective was to find out about BUT students' views on, experience and satisfaction with study at BUT, the second objective was concerned with the BUT students' expectations of their future jobs, and the third one was to find out about the BUT graduates' attitudes towards their possible academic careers. Analyzed was a sample of 951 full-time students from five BUT faculties (Faculty of Business and Management, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication, Faculty of Information Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, and Faculty of Chemistry). The input data was collected in October and November 2008.The practical implications are discussed in the end of the study.
