Originální abstrakt

Radiative heat transfer influence very much the physical processes occurring in the arc plasma. Due to extreme conditions experimental work only gives global information instead of local ones which may be important to determine the optimum operating conditions in the plasma reactor; theoretical modeling is then of great interest to improve the plasma process. However, the non-linearity of equations describing the radiation field and strong dependency of input parameters on the radiative frequency make mathematical plasma models very complicated. Several approximate methods have been described. One of them is the method of partial characteristics [1], which enables to describe both the processes of the emission in hot central arc and the absorption in cold edge. Recently, we have prepared tables of partial characteristics for air [2]. In this paper we present extension of these tables for air with admixtures of various metals - Fe, Ag, Cu, Zn, and Al.
