While designing individual error-control systems, the following basic objectives shall be pursued in the construction of the encoder and decoder unit: Quick coding of information, Simple transmission of the encoded message, Quick decoding of the received message, Correction of errors caused by noise in the channel during the message transmission, Maximization of quantities of information transmitted per time unit. Therefore in the case of individual error-control systems, it is advisable to consider the use of other safety code techniques instead of the mass application of existing solutions.
