The paper provides information about training demonstration model for lessons on industrial networks and PLC. The electromechanical model of a lathe is a great example for application of safety technology connection of a serial industrial communication buse including AS-Interface. Safety function is controlled over AS-Interface Safety at Work technology by safety monitor.
