The recycling of building materials is in the Czech Republik a relatively new field of activity in building industry. The development of this activity is influenced by more factors, which respects the, as a rule, lower quality of this material in comparison with natural materials. The application of recycled building materials is complicated by legislative and economic conditions. The Association for the Development of Recycling of Building Materials in the Czech Republik as a member of the International Union F.I.R. develops activities in cooperation with State Authorities and specialised organisations to improve the present state in this field.
