Originální abstrakt

Asynchronous generator AG is very robust and very cheap due bulk production of asynchronous machines; therefore it can be recently often found in the cheap low-end generating units, where not very precious stability of voltage and frequency is required. Here it works at constant speed and the reactive power delivery is realized by AC capacitor parallel to armature winding. This concept is not suitable for variable speed applications, where frequency decrease results in reactive power reduction, therefore it must be accompanied, in such case, with fully controlled bridge for rectifying variable frequency and voltage of AC into constant voltage DC for its next alternation, if AC source is designed.
