Abstrakt

ASIC witch contains OTP-PUF. Physical Unclonable Functions are cryptographic primitives that leverage inherent physical variations in hardware devices to generate unique and unpredictable keys for secure authentication and identification. By utilizing the randomness in manufacturing variations, PUFs offer a tamper-proof solution for key generation without the need for traditional secret key storage and management. A proposed PUF design, based on one-time programable memory cell. Programing enhances sensitivity to manufacturing variations, generating a unique and unpredictable response. This OTP-PUF uses OTP cells (resistors) with varying resistance as the source of randomness, and its response can be read using a suitable readout circuit to enable secure authentication and identification through comparison with another OTP cell.
