Originální abstrakt

The structural, mechanical, hygric and thermal properties of the mortars with pumice used as lightweight filler were experimental analyzed. As compared to the reference mortar with silica sand, the pumice-modified mortars showed significantly higher porosity, lower bulk density, water vapor and liquid moisture permeability, and optimal strength parameters meeting the criteria of the directive WTA Merkblatt 3-11-97/D, which enables their application in repair of historic and heritage buildings.

The structural, mechanical, hygric and thermal properties of the mortars with pumice used as lightweight filler were experimental analyzed. As compared to the reference mortar with silica sand, the pumice-modified mortars showed significantly higher porosity, lower bulk density, water vapor and liquid moisture permeability, and optimal strength parameters meeting the criteria of the directive WTA Merkblatt 3-11-97/D, which enables their application in repair of historic and heritage buildings.
