Originální abstrakt

This study deals with influence of psychological stress on short-time speech energy in terms of features derived from statistical distribution. Results are presented for fullband speech (20-11025 Hz) and for speech restricted to telephone signals (narrow band 300-3400 Hz and wide band 50-7000 Hz). In all three bands, voiced speech reflects stress better than full continuous speech, i.e., both voiced and unvoiced. The proposed algorithm is suitable for stress indication in full-band speech as well as in wide-band speech representing mobile telephony.
