Originální abstrakt

With the advent of modern 5 G wireless networks, demands on capacity and quality of signal coverage are increasing. The installation of such antennas is neither energetically nor aesthetically easy, so new methods have to be devised. An antenna printed directly onto a glass substrate has appeared on the market. This is a very innovative solution for improving indoor coverage without additional structural modifications. The measurement results of the AGC Glass Europe loaned antenna on glass were convincing. Almost perfect matching over a wide band of frequencies, even much wider than stated by the producer, and the directional characteristics of the antenna were also satisfactory. The functionality of this approach was verified.
