Originální abstrakt
The construction of a SPICE model of the Constant Phase Element for the simulation of systems with fractional dynamics in both frequency and time domains is described. The model is based on the Morrison and Valsa approximation of the s(alpha) operator and combines the advantageous features of both approaches. Netlist-level computations provide the correct model behavior under various constellations of its input parameters. The result is a compact subcircuit with a parametrically adjustable fractional order, center frequency, and bandwidth. Auxiliary pins can be added to monitor key parameters such as the phase response ripple. The model is validated in AC and transient analysis modes.
