Fiber ring lasers are widely used in optical sensing due to their narrow linewidth and ability to achieve stable SingleLongitudinal-Mode (SLM) operation. This paper presents a fiber ring laser design with a main ring and two subrings, incorporating an Erbium-Doped Fiber (EDF) saturable absorber. Numerical simulations and experimental measurements validate the proposed architecture. Experimental results show that stability is achieved within a few minutes, though it is influenced by temperature and polarization fluctuations, leading to occasional mode hopping between two longitudinal modes. The measured linewidth of the laser was 10 kHz.
