The created functional sample represents a digital sensing unit for measuring the transverse resistances of sleepers placed in a gravel bed. The sensing unit complements the mechanical structure, which provides the possibility of gradual loading by the applied force. The measuring unit consists of an electronic part and software. Both were created for three-channel sensing of analogy processes. The system assumes measurement of the sleeper displacement along the gravel bed simultaneously with measurement of the applied force. The software provides means for controlling the test, including data storage and creation of data files for further analysis and creation of necessary graphs.
