Originální abstrakt

The paper deals with the properties of a special class of L-R numbers that are the fuzzy probabilities of independent fuzzy random events. Properties with respect to extended probability operations and their approximations in a given class of these fuzzy numbers are described that are based on preserving the measure of uncertainty. The results can be applied to calculations of the fuzzy reliability of systems composed of independent elements with vague numerical reliabilities.
