Originální abstrakt

ERP system is a foundation stone in every company dealing with digital transformation. The article is focused on an overview of company interest in ERP system use. The field of study is analysed from time and geographical perspective to identify the trend in 2010 – 2019 across European countries. The study is based on processing, structuring and interpretation of secondary data achieved from Czech Statistical Office and Eurostat. The results are put into the context of expert environment of ICT technologies and their usage in corporate area. To get reliable results, data are researched in appropriate detail, structured according to a company size to exclude possible undesirable deviations caused by some external factors. The aim of the paper is to confirm or disprove the hypothesis of growing interest in ERP systems. To get valuable and wide overview, examined data are sliced according to European countries and company size. The trend is captured within the period of last ten years.
