Testovací lavice využívá DMD čip pro promítání série binárních masek. Jejich vhodnou volbou lze měřit tvar vlnoplochy, protože vlna odražená od DMD čipu je následně fokusována na detektor. Po vyčtení série dat z detektoru a při znalosti aktuální masky lze tvar vlnoplochy numericky rekonstruovat. Pro testování správné funkce detektoru je lavice doplňena deformovatelným zrcadlem. Toto zrcadlo je také použito pro korekci vad vlnoplochy, kterou vnáší optické elementy testovací lavice.

The testing bench use DMD chip for projection of the series of the binary masks. Their suitable choice can be used to measure the shape of the wavefront, because the wave reflected from the DMD chip is then focused on the detector. After reading a series of data from the detector and knowing the current mask, the shape of the wavefront can be numerically reconstructed. To test the correct function of the detector, the bench is equipped with a deformable mirror. This mirror is also used for correct the wavefront , that the optical elements of the bench bring.
