Digital processing of medical image data is a very important factor in improving patient care. However, the use of these technologies also brings the need to ensure safety and reliability of the implementation of the technical background. The highest possible protection against a possible intruder should be employed, which might require monitoring of the data traffic. Compliance with legislative requirements for working with such sensitive data is an issue.
