This article deals with attributes of creativity and innovation supportive culture; provides brief survey of actual approaches; reports on Chandler, Keller and Lyons remarkable study and obtained results. It summarizes priority tasks of managers creating organizational culture supporting creativity and innovations in contemporary international context. This article was prepared as a part of the process of solving the grant project GAČR no. 402/02/0114 "Organizational Culture of Czech Companies
