Originální abstrakt

Energy saving is currently a frequently discussed issue which is investigated not only in terms of building operation but also with regard to the construction of structures. One of the evaluated parameters is the thermal transmittance through the insulation envelope of the building, the U-value. In the Czech Republic, one of the most widely-used measures for ensuring a building envelope has the correct parameters is the installation of a contact-based External Thermal Insulation Composite System (ETICS). Its most important parts are the thermal insulation layer and the base layer. These two layers determine the basic parameters of the whole system, i.e. the U-value (thermal insulation) and the lifespan and resistance (base layer). This article focuses on the options available for the use of different types of thermal insulation in insulation systems and also for the subsequent installation and testing of the base layer with regard to the selected thermal insulation.
