This work covers one of the possible variants for noninvasive small mass flow measurement of homogenic fluids or gasses using the calorimetric method. The principle is based on measurement of the temperature difference caused by the convection and conduction. The presented flowmeter can measure the flow in both directions and it solves the basic linearity problem of the classical Thomas type calorimetric flowmeters by use of temperature difference and one source of heat.
