Originální abstrakt

This paper presents a modular simulation system used for Picture Quality (PQ) and bit-error rate (BER) evaluation implemented in Matlab. The system appears from the DVB (Digital Video Broadcasting) standard and its selected transmission phenomena. The paper presents the block diagram of the system then specifies parameters of transmission and shows selected simulation example including the transmission quality evaluation. The picture quality evaluation approach is discussed and possible methods efficiencies are outlined too.
