Snow cover is significant as water storage. Particularly in mountain regions, it forms a large portion of the annual precipitation total. During the spring drought, water from snow is usually also a single source of soil water for plants sometimes. This paper is concerned with frequency analysis in monitoring snow cover at a station at Rokytnice v Orlických horách (in the Orlice Mountains).
