In the wireless sensor networks research area areresources the most common problem. Wireless sensor networkis created by rather small nodes, which have limited computingpower. They also have small batteries that ensure only limitedtime to run. There is need to create applications for wirelesssensor networks that will be aware of these limitations. Formodelling application for such a sensor network there is usefulto have a common framework that will ensure usage of thebest practises for creating an application for the network. We have created methodology to provide the framework forcreating an energy efficient application. This methodology iscalled JESTER and this paper describes step by step case studythat will show how the methodology works and how should betreated. At the end of this paper we provide output from themethodology, the model of created application.
