In the context of the current world economic environment, it is imperative that universities promote an entrepreneurial mindset among theirstudents. Through providing well-structured and impactful entrepreneurial education, universities can make a significant contribution to theeconomy by preparing future innovators and business leaders. Moreover, to remain competitive, universities must adapt theirentrepreneurial education to align with the fast-changing business landscape. On this point, both ASUE and UFAR are taking a variety ofmeasures to equip students with fundamental knowledge and skills needed for starting entrepreneurial activities. Additionally, the measuresbeing conducted are mostly one-time in nature, and no comprehensive approach is applied. Meanwhile there are still weaknesses in thatprocess particularly in ensuring strong links between industry needs and university entrepreneurial education. The results of the needsanalyses conducted among ASUE and UFAR students, along with the findings of the desk review conducted at the proposal developmentstage, have highlighted the following issues: There is currently no specific policy in place regarding entrepreneurial education at thetargeted universities. Lack of practical cases and real-world examples in the teaching methods and content used in university-basedentrepreneurship programmes. (ex. 85% of those interviewed see a need to improve practical applications in entrepreneurial educationprograms) Lack of long-term supportive mechanisms for students entrepreneurial initiatives
