O projektu
The approaches combining surface science with HR-TEM and STEM are rarely used together. In this project, by combining this approach, we shall be able to study the surface and subsurface regions of the O-poor H-phase of α-Fe2O3 (0001). This project is a based on recent preliminary experiments done by us on this α-Fe2O3 (0001) single crystal. This project aims to do the phase identification of O-poor H-phase of hematite α-Fe2O3 (0001) which is the intermediate step of transition from reduced to fully oxidized surface.
Popis anglickyThe aim of the project is to create a competition for student research grants and its pilot verification. The creation of a new competition will contribute to the development of cross-sectional skills of doctoral students, and thus acquire competencies for work in science and research in the future and increase their success in submitting scientific projects to national and international competitions.
