Mthematical methods of modelling the production function may be emplyed in a number of practicareas such as company management, strategic marketing as well as in research and at different teaching levels. Polynomial functions are very well managable and therefore frequently used. The paper is concerned with modelling the production function by polynomial functions observig the low of diminishing of marginal physical product.
