Voltage control within the electric power system is a key point if considering a system reliability and power quality. Photovoltaic plants are new element which make situation even worse. Power factor correction is one of tools for voltage control in connection point of plants and therefore it is tool which augments the possible implementation of new plants. Article is focusing to designing process of compensation unit.
