Abstrakt

A version of the BBX that allows manual scanning of the internal surface of the cavities of cylindrical cross-section for inspection and maintenance purposes.

The device consists of a scanning head, a connecting cable and a power supply unit. The power supply unit is also used to connect a PC on which the image from the scanning head and the measured values can be displayed. 

The scanning head itself allows the scanning of surface texture through the built-in illuminated camera and also depth data with the help of a laser depth sensor. All images are annotated with positional data indicating the depth of insertion of the device in the head and the angle of rotation relative to the plane.
