This paper describes our design of database for crowdsourcingproject designed to transcribe data from old parish book registers- baptisms, weddings and burials. In this database informationabout names, occupations, addresses or personal relationships willbe stored. Database is based on information extracted from realrecords from various parishes and times, which was done byprofessional historians. The nature of data and the requirement totranscribe it as faithfully as possible entails several problems.These problems and limitations will be discussed and the resultingdatabase structure will be presented.
