The pulse generator is a unique device for generating a time-varying force loading the turbocharger rotor in the axial direction. With this device, an additional time varying axial force of up to 500 N can be achieved. Magnet is insured by mechanical way to the action member. The pulse generator is integrated into the tests that are part of the turbocharger bearing test program and is thus verified by a turbocharger series of measurements.
