Originální abstrakt

This article refers about problematics of DC/DC converters. Basic topologies of DC/DC converters with and without pulse transformer are mentioned in this article. There is al so a focus on some IC drivers and controllers used for converters without pulse transformer. The main part of the article is reserved for the description of the step-down converter powered from voltage in excess of 100 V, which is able to work in application, where special IC controller cannot be used.
