The subject of the proven technology is the use of the multi-criteria assessment methodology in the GIS environment for spatial strategic decision making of SMART regions. This technology includes a proven process by which it is possible to comprehensively assess a variety of criteria. Verification of technology is carried out in pilot studies. Verified technology focuses mainly on the use of a number of benchmarks by combining different multi-criteria methods (OWA, AHP, TOPSIS).
