Originální abstrakt

This contribution deals with the problem of denoising ECG signal by Wavelet Packet Decomposition (WPD) method. The use of wavelet bases for denoising biological signal is object of many discussions in recent years. Traditional methods usually use lowpass filters, and causes signal distortion. In contrast, wavelet-based methods show good results in denoising biological signals for its wide diversity.
