Originální abstrakt

Dam safety monitoring and surveillance is performed periodically with the frequency corresponding to the dam category. In the Czech Republic, these activities are carried out in accordance with legal documents, namely with the Decree No. 471/2001 Coll. Technical surveillance includes the monitoring of relevant quantities which are compared with their limit values. The most important ones are those describing dam deformation and seepage conditions.
