Originální abstrakt

The present manuscript deals with the calculation of the modulation function of optical choppers. Two approaches are presented: (1) the analytical derivation of the modulation function is demonstrated as well as (2) a numerical algorithm is described. The two methods produce the same results within less than 1mille‡. Optimization of the chopper and/or beam parameters is shown in order to produce sinusoidal modulation within less than 0.1 mille‡ as sinusoidal signals are ideal in lock-in amplifier setups.
