This paper deals with timber beams with the dimensions of commonly used ceiling girders reinforced by composite lamellas. These lamellas are bonded to beams on their tension edge. The whole system of the reinforcing is formed by the composite lamella (which is composed of carbon fibers and epoxy resin) and adhesive substance with the base of epoxy resin. The results of the research are built on previous experiments in which we tested cross sections with the width of 100 mm and the height in a range from 180 mm to 220 mm. Results from these pilot tests shown that smaller cross sections should be used for the reinforcing. That is why we have focused on the cross sections of the width of 100 mm and the height in a range of 120 to 220 mm. In light of experimental analysis, the results of these tests are presented.
