Projekt řeší distribuovaný optovláknový senzorický systém pro ochranu prvků kritické infrastruktury různého rozsahu v řádu jednotek až stovek kilometrů realizující detekci, lokalizaci, identifikaci i sledování vývoje incidentů v dohledované zóně v reálném čase. Systém bude kontinuálně sledovat zabezpečené oblasti a v případě detekce a identifikace narušení vyhodnotí úroveň ohrožení kritické infrastruktury. Přínosem systému bude zvýšení odolnosti zabezpečených objektů. Velké rozpětí dosahu senzorického prvku a jeho umístění poskytne široké možnosti uplatnění systému. Výsledkem včasné detekce a identifikace hrozeb bude možné předejití nežádoucích následků v případě úspěšné realizace útoků.

The project solves a distributed fiber optic sensor system for the supervision of critical infrastructure elements of various ranges in the order of units up to hundreds of kilometers, implementing detection, location, identification and monitoring of incidents in the monitored area in real time. The system will continuously monitor protected areas and, in the event of intrusion detection and identification, assess the level of threat to critical infrastructure. The benefit of the system will be to increase the resilience of protected objects. The long range of the sensor and its location will provide a wide range of system applications. As a result of early detection and identification of threats, it will be possible to prevent them or reduce adverse consequences if attacks are completed.
